About Knowledge in Development

Knowledge in Development Inc. was founded in 2008 by Dr. Daniela O'Neill to publish and distribute the Language Use Inventory. Knowledge in Development Inc. is a registered Ontario corporation based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

A portion of the proceeds from all sales is helping to support future researchers and clinicians in the field of child language!

We are proud to announce the establishment of an annual Child Language Research Award at the University of Waterloo, made possible by proceeds from the LUI. This monetary award will be presented annually to one graduating undergraduate student based on their academic excellence and a demonstrated commitment to future study related to child language development in a postgraduate program (e.g., developmental psychology; speech-language pathology).
